Great food...ice cold beer and great people

You can't get BBQ like you get in Texas, anywhere but Texas. I picked up a LB of brisket & chopped and two LBS of ribs and a quart of beans, slaw and potato salad, PKG of buns and some pickles and onion. Everything was very, very good. I'm glad I chose to stop in. Great Texas BBQ joint atmosphere. Oh yeah, great big ice cold draft beer, specifically Shiner Bock. Home run, baby! Hooooome run! Try Texas BBQ Pit in Saginaw, TX. I truly believe you'll be glad you did. And that's saying something considering all the BBQ you can choose from in the Fort Worth area. Right?

Really good BBQ, the best food in Saginaw and definitely one of the best BBQ joints in north Fort Worth. This time, I had the sliced beef sandwich and fries but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I'm also not the biggest BBQ sauce fan but theirs is pretty good. Whenever I'm in Saginaw, I try to make it a point to stop by.

Excellent staff and product. They have drive through service. Be prepared to wait in line because your meal is prepared on the spot so the wait is worth it. Try their homemade fries, they are nostalgic.

Well I went through the drive thru and didn't get any barbecue. When I did get off to get some the lady didn't want to give me any so I told her just charge me if you need to. Now the best place for barbecue is in Grand Prairie it's at Gordo's on Main St.

This place is an absolutely amazing little barbecue spot. If you find yourself anywhere near Saginaw, you must eat here - no excuses! Best barbecue you're going to find, hands down.

The BBQ sandwich is really good. The schooners are icy cold. Clean restroom. Great service 👍.

Good food. I like the atmosphere, I like the kids behind the counter,L. Seems like a nice place to just have a laid back dinner, have a couple beers and just hang out. However don't plan for one minute past 9:00.We were there anong with a few other tables late evening on a Saturday. 9:01 came and here comes the staff, ready to close up. The first thing they did was put up the chairs. Couldn't wait to get us out of there. There were many other things they could have done prior to putting up chairs. Rude!

best baker award goes to Josue Luna he used to work there but he would make the best bakers nobody can make them like how he used to make them 😋

Best BBQ in Saginaw! The ribs have fall off the bone tender meat, the chopped beef is to die for and I love the beans and tater salad! My mouth is watering just writing this review, highly recommend!

Good food and friendly service in a small town atmosphere.

I ordered 1 pound of chopped beef and 1 quart of coleslaw. Total $28 and some change. Although the price on the menu said $12.99 for a pound of meat. The coleslaw and meat came in the same size container. Coleslaw was dry and needed more flavor...I will not be back.

We went with a party of eight, had to sit at 2 tables because of covid, but no big deal. The Big Nasty was really good, the fries were awesome, and my wife got chopped beef, turkey, and sausage. The beef was also really good, the turkey was great. The sausage was alright, but I couldn't help but compare it to the other BBQ places I've been that are simply better at their sausage. Would absolutely come back.

Fast and friendly staff Ribs were good, BBQ sauce is thinner then my liking more of the thicker stick to your meat sauce guy. Bo hot links : ( but jalapeno sausage was good. Would eat there again when in the area.

My husband and I went through the drive thru. Ordered our food. Young blonde hair girl in the drive thru ran our card and stated it was declined. We called our bank went next door to the atm got cash out with same card and came back to get our food. Same young blonde hair girl answered drive thru window again to help serve us but was no help. Informed her something must be wrong with their machine because we just went next door to get cash and our banker on the phone said nothing was wrong with our card. Her response with an attitude and noise behind it “ha nothing is wrong with our system I just used on someone else’s card” rolled eyes. My husband asked for our cash back and told her we no longer needed the food because of HOW RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL SHE WAS. I called up to the store immediately and from the voice that answered could tell it was her. Asked for the manager and her response was “yup” waited on hold for no one to answer. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. PERIOD.

07/28/20: The speaker has been fixed. The BBQ is still good, I usually get a sausage sandwich and fries. The fries are really good. The restaurant is grossly outdated, the menu board is supplemented with paper sheets, and they still require a signature when you use a card.The food is good here, but the restaurant has many issues. The drive thru has always been a big detractor. The drive thru speaker has been broken for sometime, so you can no longer order from the menu and also means that they can only process one order at a time. Accuracy has been spotty in drive thru, especially on my visit on 07/26/19, I had to go in to rectify. The gentleman at the register did a great job, but it kind of defeats the purpose of the drive thru.Having to go in brought up another issue, it is impossible to avoid the smoking section which is open to the entry way.

This place is the bestest barbecue restaurant in Texas.

Authentic TX BBQ restaurant. The food is amazing & love the interior

I'm a regular here. I eat here twice a month and sometimes weekly. I love the brisket and sausage. I buy by the pound and its always cooked perfect. My only complaint is the bar doesn't stay open late. They would have a monopoly on late night food in Saginaw if they did. I'm sure that the "CRS" AKA the Communist Republic of Saginaw has plenty to do with regulating alcohol sells after a certain time. It is a sad day when apple something chain down the street beats out a home grown restaurant just because they got better lawyers. I digress i don't even know if that is why the bar doesn't stay open late. Maybe the owner doesn't want to stay open late but, if we as consumers don't ask the question it will never change. The bar is great by the way, it just needs to stay open later.

Ribs were a little dry but the Brisket was PERFECT

Love the half chicken here cook with a nice smokey flavor Tuesday and Saturday half chicken special half chicken 2 side tea bread onion and a pickle believe it 10.99 or 11.99

This is a great BBQ place. The food was very tasty. Hot and surprisingly fast. Generous portions were a common theme in all our plates. There are several of menu items that are quite interesting, like the big nasty. That thing looks insane. I got the$10 rib plate with fries. Man was I happy. My friend whom I went out with agreed. Probably the best food on Saginaw Blvd. The inside is slightly confusing and send like the access to the outside patio is only laid out, but other than that it's awesome. Definitely worth eating here. Wish I had a long time ago.

Love the food and people who work there

Good food but i hate coming here because of how slow the drive through is every single time I come. The girls who work the drive through don't care of how slow it is nor ever try to do things in a hurry.

This...right...here!!! This is the good. This is amazing. This is worth the 30 minute drive. The Mac n cheese, the potato salad, the meats, the sauce. My wife got the sausage sandwich. Never tasted anything so good. The Chili Cheese Fries. I'm in bbq heaven.

Service was very good and the atmosphere was cool. The meat lacked smoke flavor but other than that was good. Quick in and out for a lunch.

The food is good but all workers don’t wear gloves. A girl reached into a tub of grated cheese with her bare hand and put it on my husband’s food. NOT GOOD! Especially in this day and time!

Just moved to Saginaw but this has become one of my favorite BBQ gonna be our to go to place from now on. Great customer service and all the food is amazing.

This is a Saginaw Texas original restaurant and it has always been good barbecue. My only complaint is that the prices keep going up and I can't go there as often as I used to because I can't afford the higher prices that often. But same great barbecue, rustic atmosphere.
